Public Safety

The Fire Department looks after fire prevention, and must provide optimal protection to the population. It responds to emergency calls to save lives in fires, automobile accidents and other emergency situations. In such situations, the Fire Department must also contain the fire in order to limit material damage. It also lends a hand to neighbouring municipalities on request. It advises residents to help them improve their safety. It visits residences to ensure that residents are protecting themselves as necessary.
